    Bow Couplings for Hopper Dredgers

    Straatman is the proud creator of the bow coupling system, developed for efficient discharge operations on hopper dredgers.

    A bow coupling provides a fast and secure connection between the vessel and a floating pipeline, improving efficiency in dredging and land reclamation projects. This solution has become a proven and effective method within the dredging industry.

    Turning glands

    Our turning glands are designed to allow rotation within dredging pipelines under pressure and heavy load conditions.

    The ball turning gland is commonly applied on cutter suction dredgers, allowing the vessel to rotate freely around the pipeline axis
